Never had this problem myself (I wrote my own text reader), but you might try
the Erase All command at the start of your program to remove any memory bank
info that is hanging about. Also, remember to erase banks before you save the
program unless you WANT the bank saved with the program.
On another note, you may need to clear the input buffer with Clear Key before
